VNC (Virtual Network Computing) is a protocol that allows you to access your server remotely without SSH. It provides the ability to use the server's GUI and is particularly useful for troubleshooting firewall misconfigurations or manually installing the system from an ISO image, as it does not rely on the VPS connection.
Steps to Establish a VNC Connection to Your Server:
-
Log in to the Server Panel:
- Open our billing portal.
- Navigate to "Services" -> "My Services".
- Click on your VPS.
- Select "Open Cloud Console".
-
Enable VNC Access:
- Go to the "Options" tab.
- Click "Enable VNC Access".
-
Access VNC:
- Once VNC access is enabled, a console icon will appear.
- Click on the console icon to access the VNC.
Using VNC, you can manage your server's GUI and perform critical tasks even when traditional SSH access might not be available.
