Terms and Conditions — Fair Usage
Last updated: May 17, 2026. This acceptable use framework defines resource boundaries, prohibited workloads, and operational limits for WebGee hosting services across shared, reseller, and VPS tiers.
User Obligations
This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of WebGee hosting and related services. Our Terms of Service are incorporated by reference. By using our services, you agree to these obligations.
You represent that your content does not violate applicable law or infringe intellectual property rights; that you own or have authorization for all hosted content; and that hosted material will not be used for illegal activity.
You grant WebGee a license to cache content submitted or distributed via our services for delivery and security purposes. Such caching does not constitute an infringement of your or any third party's intellectual property rights.
Prohibited Content & Activities
You may not host, store, distribute, or engage in content or activities that are illegal, harmful, or offensive on WebGee infrastructure.
- Adult ContentNudity, pornographic material, or sexually explicit content.
- Hate & DiscriminationContent promoting violence or discrimination against protected groups.
- Illegal ActivitiesCopyright infringement, hacking, fraud, or drug trafficking facilitation.
- MalwareViruses, spyware, or malicious code distribution.
- Child ExploitationAny CSAM content — reported to authorities immediately.
- Piracy & WarezPirated software, nulled scripts, or circumvention tools.
- Proxy & VPN AbuseOpen proxies, traffic relaying, or VPN tunneling on shared infrastructure.
- High-Risk WorkloadsIRC bots, HYIP schemes, escrow fraud, live sports streaming, brute-force tools, spam scripts, and similar prohibited workloads.
We reserve sole discretion to determine policy violations. Actions may include suspension, termination, or reporting to authorities without prior notice or refund.

- Do not exceed 10% of platform processing capacity for sustained periods.
- No unattended daemons, IRC networks, BitTorrent, gaming servers, or peer-to-peer file sharing.
- No web spiders, cron jobs under 15 minutes, or MySQL queries exceeding 15 seconds.
- No proxy sites, remote file hosting, or self-hosted cloud storage (OwnCloud, Pydio).
Disk & inode limits
- Shared Hosting50GB disk / 500,000 inodes per account.
- Standard Reseller50GB disk / 500,000 inodes per end-user account.
- Premium Reseller100GB disk / 1,000,000 inodes per end-user account.
- Premium/Managed300GB disk / 3,000,000 inodes.
File type caps (all accounts unless noted)
- MultimediaMaximum 5GB for music, video, and image libraries.
- ArchivesMaximum 1GB for archives and disk images.
- DatabasesMaximum 1GB for databases and SQL dumps; individual DBs capped at 1024MB.
- ExecutablesMaximum 1GB for executable files.
Reseller obligations
- Resellers must monitor end-user accounts and remove violating content.
- Repeated breaches may result in immediate reseller account termination.
- Usage exceeding 10% of overall server resources may trigger enforced limits.
Backup Policy
Backups are provided as a courtesy service. WebGee cannot guarantee backup availability or integrity. Maintain independent off-site backups at all times.
Backup exclusions
- Accounts exceeding disk/inode thresholds, suspended accounts, or backups taking longer than 2 hours may be excluded.
- Storing plugin backups (Softaculous, etc.) on-host is prohibited — use off-site cloud storage.
VPS backup policy
- No Guaranteed VPS BackupsVPS accounts are not included in automatic backup schedules. Any infrastructure snapshots are for redundancy only and are not guaranteed for client restoration.
- VPS clients must maintain their own off-site backup solution in all cases.
Post-cancellation restoration may incur administrative charges varying by data size and resource demand.
Email & Anti-SPAM Policy
You must comply with CAN-SPAM and applicable anti-spam legislation. Mass unsolicited email is prohibited.
- No spamvertising, open relays, header spoofing, or third-party bulk mailing without authentication.
- Mailbox CapMaximum 100 mailboxes per domain.
- Storage CapMaximum 20GB total email storage per account.
- Connection LimitsPOP3: 10 concurrent connections per IP. IMAP: 30 concurrent connections per IP.
Deliberate spam may result in financial penalties, account termination, and disclosure to anti-spam organizations.
VPS Policies
- BandwidthMonthly traffic is plan-limited. Overage results in suspension until the next billing cycle.
- DiskAllocated per plan; system files consume part of provisioned storage.
- UnmanagedNo included software or server management assistance.
- ManagedDefined monthly technical assistance allocation per plan documentation.
- Fully ManagedExtended assistance plus proactive monitoring per plan tier.
Support Services
Support covers platform availability and hosting infrastructure — not website development, custom code debugging, or third-party application issues outside WebGee's direct service scope.
We may limit support interactions deemed excessive or outside fair use. Refer to your plan documentation for included support scope.
General Terms
- Account SecurityYou are responsible for all account activity, password confidentiality, and maintaining independent backups.
- NetworkWe are not liable for downtime from utility failure, equipment issues, natural disaster, or human error beyond fees paid in the billing month.
- Third-Party SoftwarecPanel, Softaculous, and similar tools are provided 'as is'; licensing fees are your responsibility.
- Reservation of RightsWe may refuse, suspend, or terminate service for harmful, illegal, or policy-violating activity.
- Legal AgeYou must be 18 or older to enter this agreement.
